Security at polling stations during the September 18-20 elections
From September 18 to 20, 2026, elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will be held in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as throughout Russia. These days, employees of the state-owned institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Fire Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan" are on duty at polling stations.
The preparation begins in advance. Preventive work is underway at the facilities where the election commissions will work: interviews with precinct staff, inspection of premises, inspection of evacuation exits, warning systems and fire extinguishing equipment. Special attention is paid to interaction with emergency services and the study of operational and tactical features of facilities: building layouts, escape routes and water sources. This data, if necessary, allows you to act without delay.
