An interactive approach is the best way to internalize security knowledge
A safety lesson was held at school No. 2 in Menzelinsk, which turned into a lively dialogue between schoolchildren and an expert in fire safety issues. The event was held as part of the Month of safety in educational institutions, which traditionally started throughout the country on Knowledge day.
Albert Timerkhanov, head of the interdistrict Department for supervision and preventive work in the Aktanysh and Menzelinsk municipal districts, clearly showed students in grades 2, 10 and 11 how to act in emergency situations.
Instead of a boring lecture, the students watched educational videos and presentations that clearly demonstrate actions in emergency situations. Together with an employee of the Russian Ministry of emergency situations, the guys analyzed typical errors, talked through rescue algorithms and modeled various scenarios. Such an interactive format helps not only to better assimilate the material, but also to fix it in memory for a long time, which is a key goal of preventive work.
