Employees of the Tatarstan EMERCOM will take part in the All-Russian action "Minute of Silence"

18 June 2025, Wednesday

The All–Russian campaign "Minute of Silence" is dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Mourning - the anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. On June 22, 2025, at 12:15 Moscow time, a minute of silence and a minute of mourning are announced simultaneously throughout Russia. All over the country, life freezes for one minute – people bow their heads and remember their relatives and friends who survived the bloodiest war of the twentieth century. The timing was not accidental — it was at this moment on June 22, 1941 that an appeal to the citizens of the Soviet Union about the treacherous attack by Nazi Germany was broadcast.

The Day of Remembrance and Mourning is a day when we remember the tragic events of 1941, when the Great Patriotic War began, which became the main part of the Second World War of 1939-1945.
During the nationwide minute of silence:
— broadcasting on television, radio, and cable channels is interrupted (channels independently choose the method of interrupting the broadcast, including the use of recordings of Igor Kirillov's voice);
— cash desks in shopping malls are no longer working;
— public transport and private cars stop;
— bells will ring in all the churches of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Operational units of subordinate institutions that are on daily duty on this day will join the action. At 12 p.m., the formation of the duty shift will take place, the head of the unit will speak, after which a minute of silence will be announced at 12:15.
