Solemn meeting in honor of the 376th anniversary of the fire protection of Russia
Kazan celebrated today the 376th anniversary of the creation of the Russian Fire Department. There were awards for those who distinguished themselves, the memory of the dead, honoring veterans and swearing in young employees.
A solemn rally was held at the memorial stele in memory of the deceased employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by veterans of the fire department, widows of deceased employees, as well as senior staff headed by the head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel Irek Kadamov of the Internal Service.
The ceremony continued with the awarding of distinguished employees and veterans of the fire department for their services in the development and improvement of measures in the field of civil defense, protection of the population and territories from emergency situations, ensuring fire safety and the safety of people on water bodies. The awards were presented by the Head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of the Internal Service Irek Kadamov and Acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrey Orlov.
