The lesson of third graders is in the «school» of firefighters
Students of the third grade of the Kazan secondary school Adymnar became participants in a bright and instructive event dedicated to the prevention and promotion of life safety. The lesson was held at the Training Center of the Federal Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the event, the children gained valuable knowledge and practical skills that will help them in a variety of life situations. First of all, the students were familiarized with the algorithm of actions in the aftermath of road accidents.
They were told in detail how to properly assess the situation, provide first aid to victims, call emergency services and act in accordance with instructions. Special attention was paid to the practical aspects of first aid. The children learned how to stop bleeding, apply a bandage, perform artificial respiration and do indirect heart massage. Practical exercises conducted with the help of special dummies allowed students to consolidate their knowledge and work out their skills.
At the end of the event, the young guests witnessed a search and rescue operation conducted by a specially trained dog. A Labrador dog named Truffle demonstrated his skills in locating a missing person.
