Since the beginning of the year, 61 incidents have been registered on water bodies (the same period last year — 79), 50 people were killed, including 4 children (the same period last year - 57, including 6 children), 22 people were rescued, including 6 children (the same period last year-63, including 10 children).
Bathing in an unequipped place remains the most common cause of death on the water. For this reason, 27 people have died since the beginning of the year, including 2 children. 2 people were rescued, including 1 child.
In order to prevent deaths associated with swimming in unequipped places, 247 consolidated mobile patrol groups with a total of 558 people have been established in each municipality of the republic. Since the beginning of the bathing season, 14038 patrols have been conducted, 30161 conversations with coverage of 50137 people. 28726 memos and leaflets have been distributed. There are 1,293 forbidding full houses in dangerous and unequipped bathing areas.
