It was not the first time that the guys from the Nest social shelter for children and teenagers came to the Zelenodolsk Fire Protection Museum. Zelenodolsk firefighters have been maintaining close contact and cooperation with the shelter for several years. They help in any way they can. More than once, basic necessities, stationery, and sanitary products were brought to the shelter. More than once, evacuation training was conducted at the shelter in case of fire.. And on the eve of the summer holidays, the children decided to conduct an educational tour to the Museum of the Fire Department of Zelenodolsk.
The acquaintance with the museum began with an exhibition of fire equipment on the facade of the 52nd fire and rescue unit. Antique fire wagon train, pre-war and post-war vehicles, fire fighting equipment… Then there is a direct tour of the museum's exhibition halls. Thanks to the unique exhibits and archival documents, the children learned about the history of fire fighting in Russia.
With a sightseeing tour, the children were taken through the premises of the unit, they clearly explained how the combat days of the guards on duty go. And at the end of the tour, the guests were once again reminded of the need to follow safety rules so that the upcoming holidays would pass without trouble and incidents.
