The 46th republican competitions among the ranks of the gas and smoke protection service, dedicated to the memory of firefighters who died in the line of duty, were held for the first time at the training base of the special fire and rescue unit No. 3 "Special FPS Department No. 35 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia". The strongest teams of detachments from Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Kazan and Zelenodolsk came to compete for the title of the best gas and smoke defenders of the republic.
The winner was identified by the speed of passing the stages minus and the penalty time for mistakes.
This year, the republican competitions for the best link of the gas and smoke protection service have their own rolling Cup. The Kazan team of the special fire and rescue unit No. 3 of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Special Directorate of FPS No. 35 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia" won the honorary right to apply the first inscription in an undisputed struggle.
