At the briefing "On ensuring safety on the water during the bathing season" at JSC Tatmedia, the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for small vessels, Yuri Venediktov, said that there are 3 days before the start of the bathing season. The situation on the water bodies of the republic is becoming tense. The weather is gradually stabilizing, the temperature goes beyond 20-25 degrees.
However, it is not yet possible to use water bodies for recreation and swimming. Only the air has warmed up, and the water temperature in the surface heated layer is 13-14 degrees.
Briefly on the operational situation.
Since the beginning of the year, 11 people have died on the republic's water bodies, including 2 children, and 13 people, including 3 children, have been rescued.
During the same period last year, 14 people were killed, 2 of them children, and 34 people were rescued, 1 of them a child.
When you plan to go on vacation to the reservoir, you should always choose equipped beaches with rescue posts, which have lifeguards and medical personnel.
