A safety lesson as a parting word before a summer vacation
Today, the second graders of 174 schools in Kazan had an unusual lesson. Firstly, the lesson was held not in the classroom, but on the territory of the educational institution. Secondly, employees of the 6th fire and Rescue unit of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan acted as teachers.
The children enthusiastically listened to stories about the everyday combat of the fire department, studied fire-fighting equipment and emergency rescue equipment of the tanker truck.
With no less interest, the guys listened to the parting words for the summer. There are three months of holidays ahead, and the rest should be safe.
Throughout May, firefighters visit schools of the republic with such lessons of safe behavior in the summer.
At the end of the lesson, the grateful children presented the firefighters with a sweet gift - a cake. And they promised to follow the safety rules.
