Tatarstan summed up the results of the special fire protection regime
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the special fire protection regime that operated on the territory of the republic from April 22 to May 12, 2024.
During this period, 286 fires were registered. This is 46.9% less (by 253 cases) than in the the same period last year (539 fires). Material damage from fires amounted to 98 thousand 800 rubles, which is 98.4% less than the the same period last year – 06 million 021 thousand rubles.
Unfortunately, 7 people died in the fires, which is 22.2% less than the the same period last year (9 people), 15 people were injured, which is 15.4% more (2 cases) than the the same period last year (13 people).
There were 85 fires on the territory of the republic related to the burning of dry grassy vegetation, debris, etc. on a total area of 1.25 hectares, which is 70.3% less than in the previous year (286 fires on a total area of 17 hectares).
Preventive groups conducted 6,392 patrols of territories, of which: 3008 – in settlements, 660 – in horticultural and horticultural non–profit partnerships, 2,411 – on land plots, 313 - in places of mass recreation of citizens. As a result of the conducted patrols, 1,313 fires of dry grass and debris were prevented.
12,218 preventive interviews were conducted with citizens, covering 64,524 people. 105 information letters were sent to the heads of municipalities and rural settlements. Local governments have cleared the territories of settlements of dry grass and debris on a total area of 1,186 hectares.
