Employees of the Russia EMERCOM in the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the military parade of the Kazan garrison in honor of Victory Day
The culmination of the events dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War was a military parade. 45 parade crews lined up at the walls of the Kazan Kremlin - columns of military units of the Kazan garrison, the CUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, Suvorov soldiers, cadets, yunarmeyts, students of military departments of universities, as well as Afghan soldiers and participants in other local wars and conflicts.
This year, the live broadcast of the Victory Day Parade from Red Square in Moscow took place again, during which the address of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin was heard.
Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, congratulated war veterans, home front workers, military personnel of the Kazan garrison and all Tatarstan citizens on the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Columns of soldiers in the uniform of soldiers of the Red Army during the Great Patriotic War marched through the Millennium Square. Columns of troops of the Kazan garrison continued the parade behind the historical column.
Also, the parade of the Cadet Fire and Rescue Corps of the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia passed through the square with a solemn march.
