Employees of the Zelenodolsk fire and rescue garrison today conducted exercises at the Nizhnevyazovsky branch of Tatarstan Grain Technologies JSC. Despite the poor weather and road conditions, the planned fire and tactical exercises took place, as expected, in normal mode.
According to the training plan, as a result of violations of fire safety requirements, a fire occurred in grain storage facility No. 2, there was a threat of a fire spreading to the neighboring grain storage facility No. 3. The area of the conditional fire was 220 sq.m.
The first to arrive at the scene of the fire is the duty guard 154 of the fire and rescue unit. Firefighters are informed that an on-duty foreman remained inside the building, who was unable to evacuate on his own. The number one task is to find and save a person. Firefighters are equipped with special devices for respiratory protection, find the conditionally injured person and evacuate him to fresh air using a special rescue device in the form of a hood. Then they begin directly to eliminate the fire. During the training, fire reservoirs with a volume of 200 and 50 cubic meters located on the territory of the facility were used.
