Operation Snowmobile
The annual operation "Snowmobile" has started in the republic. Its main goal is to prevent accidents related to the death and injury of people during the operation of snowmobiles and other winter off-road motor vehicles, to ensure the safety of life and health of people, the safety of property, and environmental protection.
In the Zelenodolsky district, as part of Operation Snowmobile, patrolling was organized by joint groups, which include employees of the GIMS, state technical supervision and the Committee on Biological Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During patrolling, state technical supervision specialists give priority to the operation of off-road motor vehicles in places of mass use. Inspectors check the availability of state registration, rights to drive a motor vehicle, documents confirming the passage of technical inspection. GIMS employees conduct preventive conversations with snowmobile owners, present memos on safety measures on ice. And representatives of the Committee on Biological Resources, in turn, reveal the facts of illegal fishing.
