On the eve of the feast of the Nativity of Christ, the temples of Tatarstan were checked for fire safety
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan has planned and is carrying out a set of supervisory and preventive measures aimed at ensuring fire safety of venues for Christmas celebrations. 245 Christmas holiday venues have been registered.
Preventive visits were conducted at all involved facilities, during which special attention was paid to the maintenance of evacuation routes, the serviceability of fire automation systems and fire warning systems, the availability and serviceability of fire-fighting water supply, as well as practical training on evacuation of people in case of fire. Also, during preventive visits with clergymen, service personnel and parishioners of places of worship, briefings and consultations on fire safety measures were organized.
