These simple truths were voiced at a briefing for journalists on compliance with fire safety requirements when the ambient temperature drops, Acting Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of the Internal Service Maxim Truschin.
In 17 municipalities of the republic, there is an increase in the number of people killed in fires.
In 16 municipalities of the republic, there is an increase in the number of injured people in fires.
There were 108 fires in the first month of winter. At the same time, the representative of the emergency department pointed to the direct influence of air temperature on the growth of fires. 7 people were killed and 10 people were injured in the fires.
The most common cause of fires in December is a violation of the rules of technical operation of electrical equipment.
