Starting in big sport starts from small
Today, in the arena of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, city competitions in fire and rescue sports among schoolchildren 12-13 years old were held. 13 best teams fought for the title of the strongest team in Kazan.
These competitions are held twice a year. To get here, schoolchildren went through the qualifying stages in the districts and reached the final. Today, a hundred of the strongest schoolchildren have reached decisive starts. Each team has eight guys - half boys, half girls. The winner and prize-winners were determined by the results of team performances.
In the start program, two disciplines of fire and applied sports - overcoming the obstacle lane and climbing the assault stairs. Schoolchildren competed in a much lightweight program, in contrast to the races of full-time athletes. It was just necessary to jump over a small barrier and connect the already deployed fire hoses. Also on the attack - the students climbed onto the window of the first floor of the training tower along the already attached stairs.
