The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations organized a career guidance meeting with students of the Vasilyevsky cadet school
Currently, 552 people are studying at the Vasilievsky Cadet boarding school named after Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Volostnov, of which 313 children are in cadet classes. The organization of the education of cadets is based on universal values, the history of the Fatherland and the heroic traditions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the rescue services of Russia.
The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told the cadets about the rules for admission to specialized higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, what specialties exist in the institutes and academies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Roman Kolpakov, who was trained at the Ivanovo Academy of GPS, shared his own experience with the guys, told about today's service of firefighters. After the conversation, the cadets asked a lot of questions – about exams, difficult disciplines, and subsequent employment.
According to the participants of the meeting, such communication is useful both for the cadets of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and for the employees of the emergency department themselves, whose task is to interest young people and inform them that today the profession of a firefighter-rescuer is modern and respected.
