To learn everything about the profession of a firefighter-rescuer, to see with your own eyes the conditions of service of firefighters, to communicate with real firefighters – all Zelenodolsk schoolchildren have such an opportunity. Employees of the 8th fire and rescue squad regularly hold Open Days and excursions in fire stations.
The tour began with the facade of the part where the stele in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Soviet Fire Protection was installed. The guys also examined a colorful "fire" stop, decorated with elements of fire propaganda, and an old fire motorcycle.
Employees of SRU-53 showed the guys the equipment and equipment that they use when traveling to fires and other emergencies. The commander of the SRU-53 squad Anton Panushin explained how and for what purposes fire trucks go to the fire. In addition, he told the young guests about the hydraulic emergency rescue tool used in the elimination of the consequences of road accidents. He demonstrated the firefighters' combat equipment, personal respiratory protection equipment. Everyone could try on real firemen's helmets and sit in the cockpit of a large fire truck. "Firefighters are cool!" the first–graders whispered with delight.
