The 2023 swimming season ends in Kazan on August 31
The 2023 swimming season is coming to an end — the official end, as every year, will take place on August 31. At the same time, even now the beaches remain empty — the air temperature dropped sharply to autumn levels, and the water immediately began to cool down — the weather quickly reduced the number of people wishing to relax on the beaches of the city. Already now we can talk about summing up the results of this summer — about how the 2023 swimming season went. Whether it is worth going into the water now and what to do for those who planned to start hardening in the fall, we talked with Nikita Korobitsyn, chairman of the Kazan SRW Council.
The chairman of the SRW of Kazan told how the 2023 bathing season went — what caused the incidents this time:
The main causes of emergency situations on the water: bathing in unequipped places, bathing under the influence of alcohol and, unfortunately, too often — insufficient control by adults over children. This year, during the season, nine rescue cases were recorded on beaches and places of mass recreation, three of which were children.
