Today, during a working trip of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Vasilievо Cadet boarding school named after Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Volostnov. The event was attended by the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant General of the Internal Service Rafis Khabibullin.
The visit to the cadet school began with demonstration performances of the winners of the regional stage of the Professional Skills Championship "Professionals" of the Republic of Tatarstan in the competence of "Rescue work" among junior teams.
On the site in front of the school building, Rustam Minnikhanov was presented with samples of modern fire-rescue equipment and equipment - a mobile complex for ensuring the activities of highly maneuverable fire-rescue vehicles, fire-rescue motorcycles, an emergency rescue vehicle.
Now 591 cadets of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are studying at this educational institution. The guys get acquainted with the profession of an emergency department employee, learn the basics of fire and rescue work, pay special attention to the development of fire and rescue sports.
