Rafis Khabibullin: all schools, private or public, must comply with fire safety requirements

    Today, a meeting of the CES and PB of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in videoconference mode under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the CES and PB of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Khabibullin, at which the issue of readiness of educational organizations of the republic for the beginning of the new academic year was discussed.
     Maxim Trushchin, Head of the Department of Supervisory Activities of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan, reported to the audience on the state of fire safety of educational institutions as part of their preparation for the start of the new academic year. He said that in the new 2023-2024 academic year, as of August 18, it is planned to open 1,624 educational institutions (1,422 legal entities) on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
    Regarding the implementation of the functions of State Fire Supervision in the current academic year, surveys on compliance with fire safety requirements of educational facilities have been organized and are being carried out.
    According to the results of inspections by the supervisory authorities, 12 instructions were issued for the elimination of violations of mandatory fire safety requirements, in which 138 measures were proposed. 57 eliminated (41%). The number of objects with violations of fire safety requirements (with current regulations) is 65 objects.
