In the ranks of the units of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Units in the Republic of Tatarstan, combat duty for the protection of objects of the Nizhnekamsk industrial complex carries a lot of paratroopers. One of them is Farit Mustafin, the driver of the fire truck 47 SRU. The firefighter joined the airborne troops back in 1977. But even today, 45 years later, he clearly remembers his first parachute jump:
On the flight, I remember an incident happened to me. We were warned to tie our boots so they wouldn't fall off. But apparently I did it badly... and lost both!
When you land, after your first jump, you experience real happiness! Yes, the first jump is an unforgettable experience! I have 28 in total. In particular, I landed from the legendary IL-76.
Taking this opportunity, today, August 2, I congratulate the paratrooper brothers on our holiday, happy Airborne Day! No one but us!
