On July 22, Ziryak Gilyazovich Shigapov turned 80 years old and for more than 56 years he has remained faithful to the profession of a firefighter. In 1967, Ziryak Gilyazovich began his glorious career in the ranks of the State Fire Service and made an invaluable contribution to ensuring fire safety of the Nizhnekamsk Petrochemical Plant and the city of Nizhnekamsk.
It was him, as a professional with a capital letter, who was trusted to participate in the commissioning of significant industrial enterprises, the development of regulatory documents on the fire protection regime of explosive and flammable objects. In addition to fire prevention, he has repeatedly acted as the head of fire extinguishing in the city and district.
A true love for firefighting craft was manifested by Ziryak Gilyazovich and when creating the Nizhnekamsk fire and technical exhibition in 1986. In February 2004, Ziryak Shigapov headed the Nizhnekamsk branch of the RVFS. Extensive experience in the field of fire safety and competent management policy of the organization quickly began to bear fruit.
Ziryak Gilyazovich paid special attention to working with the younger generation. On his initiative, large-scale annual competitions began to be held in Nizhnekamsk, in which all schools of the district took part. Propaganda work has been organized in educational institutions of all levels and summer children's camps.
He has never bypassed the issues of volunteerism. With his active participation, nine volunteer fire brigades were created and function to this day to protect the settlements of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district, and volunteer fire brigades are on duty at important production facilities of the city.
