Kazan is preparing for the bathing season
5 municipal beaches – Lokomotiv, Nizhny Zarechye, Glubokoe Lake, Komsomolskoye Lake, Bolshoe Lebyazhye, as well as 3 organized recreation areas – Lake Lebyazhye, Lake Emerald, Lake in Victory Park will be opened for recreation of Kazan residents and guests of the city.
From June 1 to August 30, three rescuers and one medical worker are scheduled to be on duty daily at each municipal beach and recreation areas near the water from 9:00 to 20:00. All beaches will be equipped with boats, rescue equipment and medicines in accordance with the requirements of the governing documents in full.
As preventive measures to prepare for the bathing season, I recommend that the Education Department conduct instructional classes in the city's schools on the rules of safe behavior on the water. To determine the readiness of beaches for the season, their annual technical inspection is carried out.
