On vacation – with a wealth of knowledge on safe behavior by the water
During the holidays, the employees of the GIMS Center departments sent schoolchildren with a baggage of safety knowledge. As part of the Children's Day, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visited schools in the districts of Tatarstan: Kamsko-Ustinsky, Spassky, Tetyushsky, Nizhnekamsk and in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. We conducted 16 preventive interviews covering about a thousand schoolchildren and their parents.
The children and adults were told about the rules of safe recreation near reservoirs, that it is necessary to swim only on official beaches, as there are rescuers and medics on duty there who will come to help if necessary. Also, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations answered the questions of curious schoolchildren.
This work will continue. During the summer holidays, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees will regularly go out for conversations on beaches and places of rest by the water, visit children's health and school camps with classes.
