Maxim Trushchin explained that from April 17 to May 10, a special fire protection regime is being introduced in the Republic of Tatarstan, the purpose of which is to reduce the likelihood of wildfires and minimize the negative consequences from them.
This year, 116 settlements exposed to the threat of forest fires and other fires, 75 horticultural and suburban non-profit associations of citizens, 84 children's health camps bordering forest areas have been registered.
