On the eve of the celebration of the Orthodox Easter holiday, emergency workers conduct preventive visits to churches and cathedrals where night services will be held. SFS inspectors check the state of fire safety in temples and the serviceability of primary fire extinguishing means.
There is an evacuation plan at the entrance to the temple, three fire extinguishers should be available inside the premises, which the inspectors checked for serviceability and refueling time during the inspection. There is also an automatic fire alarm system in the temple, which is in working condition. The main condition for saving people in case of fire are evacuation exits. They are available in the temple - the main and spare. In the event of a power outage, the appropriate exit signs will indicate the direction of evacuation to people.
SFS inspectors also paid attention to fireproof metal candlesticks, where parishioners put lighted candles in front of icons.
