Employees of the EMERCOM are on duty at the facilities of the Special Olympics in Kazan
The Unified Games of the Special Olympics continue in Kazan, which are held according to the program of the Special Olympics in 18 sports. Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan are on duty at all venues of competitions, accommodation and transport.
All the venues of the Special Olympics long before the start of the Games were checked by inspectors of the state fire supervision for violations of fire safety rules. All identified errors were corrected in a timely manner, there are no complaints from the supervisory authorities. Nevertheless, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are on duty at all the objects of the games, daily conducting a preventive inspection of the venues of the competitions and the accommodation of the participants of the Games.
During the competitions, fire protection units in full combat gear are also on duty at sports facilities, ready to respond to any incidents.
