On December 19, the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Alexander Kurenkov, is on a working trip to Kazan. The Minister, together with the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, handed over more than 20 pieces of equipment to the fire and rescue garrison. These are 10 new special vehicles for the needs of the Russian Emergencies Ministry units and 14 mobile fire extinguishing posts for volunteer fire brigades created this year in rural settlements.
The park was replenished with fire tankers on KAMAZ and URAL chassis, emergency rescue vehicles, a mobile pumping station, a sleeve car and other necessary equipment for various purposes. Already today, it will be included in the calculation and put on alert, which will increase the level of protection of both local residents and socially significant objects.
In total, the Tatarstan territorial fire and rescue garrison includes more than 120 units of the federal fire service and more than 100 separate posts of the republican fire protection. More than 6 thousand people perform selfless service in them. Volunteer fire protection units are also regularly replenished. Thanks to the victory of the social project of the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society in the competition of the Presidential Grants Fund, 14 mobile fire extinguishing posts were made.
