The Republican CESFS adopted an order on additional measures to ensure the safe operation of domestic gas equipment
Every year dozens of violations related to violation of the rules of operation of indoor gas equipment are registered in the residential sector on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. These are mainly explosions of household and liquefied gas and the collapse of multi-storey residential buildings, fires in garages and cars and, unfortunately, the death of people. As a result of incidents related to domestic and liquefied gas, 49 people have died in the republic over the past 5 years.
In order to ensure the safe operation of indoor gas equipment and automotive gas cylinder equipment, the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan adopted an order, in accordance with which a number of instructions were given.
The Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of municipalities, housing inspection and gas supply organizations are invited to continue preventive work to prevent accidents during the operation of gas equipment in the housing stock of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, was recommended to focus on compliance with safety requirements when using heating stoves, gas equipment, and electrical wiring as part of the preventive operation "Dwelling".
The Rostechnadzor Administration for the Republic of Tatarstan is recommended to continue work on methodological support of maintenance control activities.
