Nizhnekamsk residents in the Persian Gulf: masters of fire and rescue sports performed at competitions in Iran
The team of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Department of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan returned from Iran, where they participated in the Olympic Games among firefighters standing on the protection of petrochemical industry facilities.
The National Petrochemical Company of Iran for the 6th time held a specific "Olympiad" among the fire protection units and the invitation of the team from Tatarstan was a pleasant surprise!
The town of Eseluye is located on a narrow strip between the sea and a mountain range. Industrial installations of the petrochemical complex stretch along the coast for many kilometers. The weather was hot, above 30 degrees.
The competition consisted of 6 stages. The team from Tatarstan took 17th place out of 25 teams. Nevertheless, the Iranians admired the level of training of Tatarstan athletes and their ability to quickly navigate in unusual conditions.
