The process of ice formation has begun in the Republic of Tatarstan. First of all, ice is installed on inland reservoirs - these are lakes, ponds and dams, as well as in river bays and on small rivers of the republic. However, the thickness of the ice is still insufficient for recreation, sports and tourism and is only 2 cm, which is not enough to get on the ice. The standard thickness that is safe for one person to go out on the ice is at least 7 cm. When entering the ice with a thickness of less than 7 cm, administrative measures will follow, the fine is up to 1,500 rubles.
According to the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for small vessels Yuri Venediktov, starting today, consolidated mobile groups have started working in almost all municipal districts, especially in those where there are reservoirs. These mobile groups include representatives of the administrative and technical commission of municipal districts, their task is not only to carry out preventive work among the population, but also to bring violators to administrative responsibility. Such patrols will also take place on hovercraft.
