From October 3 to 4, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia conducts an All-Russian civil defense training. Federal executive authorities, heads of regions, local governments and organizations will be involved in the training.
Specialists of the Kazan search and Rescue squad held an open day for schoolchildren of Kazan Lyceum 174. The children took part in an exciting tour of the rescue base. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia showed the young guests special tools they work with, equipment and places where they train in order to successfully conduct search operations in the natural and man-made environment.
The tour began with a demonstration of special tools and equipment. The children looked at modern rescue tools with interest and learned about their purpose. The children listened with interest to tips on safe behavior at home and outdoors.
The training camps of the cynological teams took place over two days in the Verkhneuslonsky district in the forest near the village of Kamenka. Rescuers with their four-legged assistants, representing the Kazan Search and Rescue squad, a branch of the Volga regional search and Rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, as well as their colleagues from the Chelyabinsk region, took part in them. Dog handlers of the Search and Rescue Service at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan and volunteers from Nizhny Novgorod also participated in joint training. There are more than 10 calculations in total.
