The situation with fires and fire-hazardous accidents at the facilities of the structural divisions of PJSC Tatneft has stabilized in recent years. Increasingly, an open battle on the fire front can be avoided thanks to the effective actions of the fire service scouts - preventers. Nevertheless, the firefighters of Almetyevsk contractual units are ready for unexpected situations at any moment. This was once again confirmed by the training exercises.
Combat deployment, cooling of the tank walls and foam attack – such an algorithm of actions in case of a fire was practiced by the personnel of the detachment on the territory of the tank farm "Bavlyneft". The conditional incident, according to the plan, was the explosion of a vapor-air mixture in a tank with a volume of 5,000 cubic meters. The reason is a violation of the rules of the fire-fighting regime during the fire works.
At the end, a detailed analysis is carried out, errors are indicated and an assessment of actions is given. According to the head of the exercises, the deputy head of the squad for service, Vladimir Saloon, the training showed that the operational staff of the facility knows the procedure well in case of a fire, and the firefighters demonstrated competent tactical thinking and coherence of actions.
