Checking the autonomous fire detectors
In Zelenodolsk district, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with the workers of the RVFS, began checking the availability and condition of autonomous fire detectors installed earlier in the places of residence of large families, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, the disabled, single, elderly citizens.
During the raids, employees of the Zelenodolsk fire and Rescue garrison not only check sensors and batteries for them, but also conduct conversations with elderly people, parents with many children, remind them about safety measures at home and about the operation of autonomous fire detectors. For the purpose of prevention, memos on fire safety are handed over.
The rounds of houses and apartments where fire detectors were previously installed are planned to be completed by December 6. Further, all information will be sent to the management of the municipality to resolve the issue of allocating funds for the replacement of batteries for fire detectors.
