On July 9, 2014 a woman born in 1958 and a boy born in 2009 as a result of fire died in the garden partnership "Veteran" of Karyer village in Kazan. There was a grandmother with her two grandchildren in the house at the time of the fire; their parents were at work. The death of the second child was avoided because the girl born in 2000 was walking at the site at the time of fire. Preliminary cause of the fire was careless handling of fire. 

Incidents for July, 10:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 67 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 5, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector.

The causes of fires are: violation of fire safety rules during electric device use – 2, careless handling of fire – 3, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 3, carelessness when smoking – 1, careless handling of fire by children – 1.
