The forces and means of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan are ready to ensure the safety of the First Games of the CIS countries
Since September 1, the forces and means of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan have been transferred to an enhanced mode of operation in connection with the First Games of the CIS countries, which will be held in Kazan from September 4 to 11. The total grouping of forces and means involved in ensuring the security of the Games is 565 personnel and 101 units of equipment.
On the eve of taking up duty, the head of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant General of the internal Service Rafis Khabibullin, held a meeting with the heads of departments responsible for ensuring the security of the Olympics of the CIS countries. He brought to the staff information about the last meeting of the Interdepartmental Operational Headquarters for the Protection of Public Order and Ensuring public Safety. The main speakers were the Directorate of Sports Programs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of Rospotrebnadzor. All of them confirmed their readiness to host the games. In conclusion, the organizational documents were reviewed and approved.
The total grouping of forces and means involved in ensuring the security of the Games is 565 personnel and 101 units of equipment, including: 1 echelon with a total of 452 personnel and 92 units of equipment consisting of 6 functional groups, 2 echelon with a total of 113 people and 9 units of equipment.
