Alexey Pesoshin at the meeting of the commission for the prevention and elimination of emergencies: there was an emergency fire danger of class 5 in the forest fund
Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin held a meeting of the commission for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety in the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants of the event discussed additional measures to prevent the occurrence of forest and landscape fires on the territory of the republic.
"This summer, an extremely unfavorable situation has developed on the territory of the republic, associated with abnormally high temperatures. There is an emergency fire danger of class 5 in the forest fund" - Alexey Pesoshin stated.
On the territory of the Volga Federal District, on August 19, 1441 cases of forest and natural fires were recorded on an area of almost 22 thousand hectares. The largest number of forest fires occurred in Bashkortostan, Orenburg and Samara regions, Perm and Mordovia.
In order to prevent forest fires, a whole range of measures for fire-fighting arrangement of forests is being carried out, propaganda and explanatory work is being carried out.
Work is being carried out on the ground. Patrol groups operate, conversations are held, leaflets and memos are distributed, full houses are put up about the ban on bathing in unequipped places, hundreds of people are brought to administrative responsibility.
At the end of the meeting, Alexey Pesoshin called on the heads of municipalities to take comprehensive measures to comply with the requirements of legislative and regulatory acts of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan in matters of fire safety and to monitor the readiness of forces and means to extinguish forest fires.
