Track and field cross-country competitions were held in Nizhny Novgorod as part of the Sports Contest of the EMERCOM of Russia. Teams from 14 Main Departments of the EMERCOM of Russia in the subjects of the Volga Federal District competed for the victory.
86 people, including 14 representatives of the fair sex, demonstrated their skills.
The competition program included 6 races: women, the strongest men, men in the age category up to 29 years, men in the age category up to 39 years, men under the age of 49 years, as well as 50 years and older.
According to the results of a persistent and uncompromising struggle, the team of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan took the first place, the second-the team of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and the team of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Perm Region closed the top three leaders.
Following the results of the competition, a national team of the district was formed among the subjects of the Volga Federal District, which will fight for medals at the final stage of the Sports Contest of the EMERCOM of Russia.
