The problems of the situation with fires and deaths on the water were discussed at a meeting of the CESFS with the participation of the President of Tatarstan
President of The Republic Of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov Held a meeting of the commission.
All municipal districts were connected via videoconference. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.
As Rafis Khabibullin noted, "for the second year, the situation with fires and the death of people on them raises many questions. Today, in the total number of fires, the percentage of fires – the ignition of dry grass and garbage – is 58%, and only 42% are man-made fires." A significant increase in fires occurred in April-May, this is mainly due to the ignition of dry grass and garbage in untreated territories in time.
In the republic, work continues on equipping residential buildings with autonomous detectors (AFD). In 2021, 43693 autonomous detectors were installed in 15342 households.
Rafis Khabibullin noted that in 2021, due to the fact that the AFD worked, 25 people were saved in 16 cases, including 9 children.
Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to strengthen the work with city beaches. "We have enough places near the water, a lot of water expanses. These are recreation areas of our citizens. There are reservoirs where it is necessary to improve the territories in order to ensure the safety of people on water bodies."
