Rustam Minnikhanov: issues of ensuring fire safety and people's safety on the water remain in the spotlight

The number of fires compared to the same period in 2020 increased by 18%, the increase in deaths from fires increased by 55%. This was announced today at a meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Ensuring Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan by the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Khabibullin.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held the meeting. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Alexei Pesoshin.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that fire safety and people's safety on the water remain in the spotlight. "We already have negative consequences. People bathe in unorganized places. Some are intoxicated, "he said and urged to keep the situation under control.
