Learn to swim – a necessary skill for a safe rest by the water
It is not the first year that the "Learn to Swim" campaign, initiated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, has been marching all over the country. Today, the event was held with great success on the beach "Lower Zarechye" in Kazan.
Rescuers-public activists showed vacationers how to provide first aid to a drowning person by throwing him a lifebuoy. At the same time, the lifeguard must swim next to the victim and accompany him on the water to the shore.
After that, the participants of the action saw what necessary resuscitation actions should be carried out with the victim already on the shore before the ambulance arrived.
Training in swimming and safe behavior on the water is conducted regularly by the state inspectors of the SISV, starting from the first day of the swimming season, and continuing to conduct them until its closure.
The employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also appealed to the residents of Tatarstan with a request to take care of their safety and choose exclusively equipped beaches for swimming, only they meet all safety requirements. When going on vacation, do not forget the rules of behavior near the water and on the water and take care of yourself and your loved ones.
