Employees of the EMERCOM provided security of festive events in the Spas district
The security of the religious holiday of the Day of the Adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria in the Spas district was provided by the employees of the Spassky Fire and Rescue Garrison of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The religious holiday in honor of the 1099th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria was attended by more than 20 thousand people. Among them are honored guests, participants and tourists who arrived in Bolgar from cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as from other regions of Russia. Among the guests of honor were Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev, State Adviser of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev. Top officials of Tatarstan and Russia discussed preparations for the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria in 2022.
22 employees of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan were involved to ensure the safety of festive events at the venues of celebrations, as well as in the water area of the Volga River.
