Competitions among the Gas service are organized annually. And this is probably the most prestigious competition among the employees of the fire service. It is here, at the stages with a lot of physical activity, as close as possible to the conditions of a real fire, firefighters show real professional skill, patience and endurance.
Traditionally, these competitions are dedicated to the memory of firefighters who died in the line of duty. They are carried out in several stages. First, the best teams are determined among the teams in each part. Next, the teams with the best results participate in the final. The program remains the same – it is a practical part and a test in theory. Overcoming the 500-meter distance, testing in a heat and smoke chamber (a special room where in the smoke and complete darkness it is necessary to find the victim, take him out, and also eliminate the fire), climbing the training tower, shooting water at targets – all the tasks of the practical part of the team were performed clearly, quickly, in a matter of minutes. As a result, the fastest was the link of gas and smoke protectors of the 52 fire and rescue units, who completed all the tasks in 6 minutes and 46 seconds and won this competition for the sixth year in a row! The second place went to the firefighters of the city PSCH-53, and the third place went to the SRU-8 team from Innopolis.
An unusual innovation of the current competition was the participation in the general races of a separate team from among the senior staff of the units of the 8th squad. That is, this year, not only ordinary firefighters "sweated", but also their commanders, who decided to show that they are able not only to lead and make reports, but also to perform the main work of firefighters – to extinguish fires and save people. We decided and did it! At the same time, they did it perfectly, improving the result of the winning team of the SRU-52 by more than half a minute. They covered the entire distance in 6 minutes and 11 seconds. The officers ' team consisted of Vladislav Gizzatullin, head of a separate SRU - 34 post, Dmitry Kotelnikov, Deputy Head of SRU-53, Andrey Malyshkin, Deputy Head of SRU-52, and Alexey Doronin, Senior inspector of the Service and Training department of the 8-SRU.
The best result was shown by the management team. However, the official winning team of the 52nd fire and rescue unit will still perform at the final republican stage. The decisive start is on June 3 in Bugulma.
