Zelenodolsk firefighters hold a fire and tactical exercises in the children's health camp "Gorkovets"
Places of mass children's recreation are objects that require the closest attention in terms of security. That is why every year in children's camps, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees carry out a number of preventive measures aimed at improving the level of fire protection of objects, practicing the skills and actions of service personnel in the event of a fire or other emergency.
The next planned fire and tactical exercises were organized recently in the country children's health camp "Gorkovets". The pine forest, the picturesque bank of the Volga River – an ideal place for a country holiday for children. Founded in 1935, this camp welcomes up to 500 children every year, who stay here throughout the summer. This year, the exercises were organized in advance, before the children arrived at the camp.
According to the legend of the exercise, as a result of a short circuit of the electrical wiring, furniture and curtains caught fire in one of the rooms of the sleeping building on the 2nd floor. Smoke filled the corridor, threatening the lives of the children who remained in the building. During the tactical exercises, the fire was dealt with quickly, in about 20 minutes. I would not like to check how everything would happen if there was a real fire, neither the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, nor the camp staff. Therefore, it is important to do everything so that in reality such situations do not arise in any children's camp.
