Yuri Venediktov: the situation on the water bodies of the republic remains quite tense
In his interview, the deputy head of the territorial body (chief state inspector for small vessels of the Republic of Tatarstan) of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Yuri Venediktov, appealed to the residents of the republic, and especially to parents, with a request to observe the rules of safe behavior not only on the water, but also near the water, and noted that since the beginning of the year, 12 people have already died in Tatarstan, unfortunately, among them 2 children.
- As a result of bathing in unequipped places in cold water, and the water has not yet warmed up for a good enough comfortable bathing, 4 people have already died, three of them adults. And, as I said, 2 of our children died as a result of falling into the water.
Therefore, I would like to appeal to parents: on the eve of a rather hot weekend and an unfavorable situation on the water – this is, first of all, the presence of cold water - to organize more stringent and round-the-clock monitoring the children. Children alone near reservoirs should not be, even being in unequipped places and not swimming, there is a risk of risk and death - this is falling into the water, this is playing with some objects near the water, this is riding bicycles. And, of course, I would like to appeal to the parents-before letting the children go to the pond, it is necessary to appoint one senior from among the adults. And teach the child to swim.
