Before the start of the swimming season in Kazan, state SISV inspectors check the city's beaches

27 May 2021, Thursday

Today, state inspectors for small vessels came to check the city beach "Locomotive". First of all, the employees of the SISV checked the readiness of the rescuers-public activists to take up their daily duty. All beaches should be equipped with everything necessary – a rescue post with lifeguards, rescue equipment, a medical center. The boundaries of the beach, gangways, and catwalks must be defined. Canopies or umbrellas should be installed to protect vacationers from rain or sun.
The swimming season starts on June 1. Therefore, the fence for the playground was still lying on the shore, and the brand-new buoys to mark the border of bathing had not yet been lowered into the water.
According to the Chairman of the Council of SRW Kazan Nikita Korobitsyn, every day on the beach will be on duty three lifeguards-public men and one paramedic. The lifeguards will control the safety on the beach both on the water with the help of a rowing boat, and on the shore. They will also conduct preventive work on water safety with vacationers and distribute the necessary training material. And also organize master classes for citizens on saving a drowning person and providing him with first aid.
