Attention! The procedure for transmitting the public alert signal for civil defense has been changed
Now there is a single signal of civil defense «Внимание всем!», which is accompanied by the inclusion of sirens, intermittent beeps, followed by speech information about the current situation and the procedure for action.
Previously, civil defense signals «Внимание всем!», «Воздушная тревога!», «Химическая тревога!», «Радиационная опасность!», «Угроза катастрофического затопления!», as well as signals canceling them, were used to alert the population about the dangers.
In the modern world, emergencies caused by new threats, including natural, man-made and biological-social risks, have become relevant. For example, last year, the world was faced with a new coronavirus infection, COVID-19.
For each such threat, it is impractical to determine its signal – it will simply be impossible for citizens to remember them. In this regard, it was decided to introduce a single signal to alert the population about any dangers and emergencies - «Внимание всем!». When receiving it, citizens should immediately listen to information about the algorithm of actions in case of an emergency threat. To do this, you need to turn on the TV or radio-the information will be broadcast on mandatory public TV and radio channels. The information will also be transmitted in short text messages over a mobile radiotelephone network.
If it is impossible to get acquainted with the information in such ways, a citizen should contact the unified duty and dispatch service of the municipality or call the unified emergency call number "112".
