Tatarstan residents were able to achieve a high achievement during the All-Russian competitions of the EMERCOM of Russia on fire and rescue sports in memory of the Hero of the Russian Federation, President of the Federation of Fire and Applied Sports of Russia Vladimir Mikhailovich Maksimchuk in the Moscow suburbs of Aparinka. This year, the competition was held as part of the International Salon "Integrated Security – 2021".
Here, at the stadium of the training ground of the State University "Fire and Rescue Center" for four days, the best athletes-firefighters of Russia fought hard for the title of the winner of the All-Russian competitions.
11 strongest teams from all over Russia - representatives of the main departments of the EMERCOM of Russia in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Perm Region, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk, and Chelyabinsk Regions, as well as the sports team of PJSC Gazprom-made their way to the final stage of the competition.
The participants of the competition had to demonstrate their strength, endurance and professionalism in sports disciplines: "Assault ladder" - climbing through the window of the 2nd and 4th floors of the training tower, "Obstacle Course", "Fire Relay" and "Combat deployment". Each team consists of 10 people – 8 men and 2 women. The results of each athlete brought the final bonuses in the team competition.
In the team event, our team took second place, both in climbing the assault ladder and in overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course. This reserve was enough for Tatarstan citizens to keep the silver awards of the All-Russian competitions.
The best result in all types of competitions was demonstrated by athletes from the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the third place was taken by the team of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Moscow Region.
The winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian competitions were awarded by the First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Chupriyan and the head of the Main Department of Fire Protection Valentin Nelyubov.
